As the daughter of a journalist and school librarian, a mastery of words is part of my DNA. I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California and moved to Los Angeles to study screenwriting. Though I elected not to pursue that field, my education instilled the ability to be direct in a wide variety of voices and tones. 

My interests include overly passionate discussions about TV shows, crushing the pop culture categories on Jeopardy!, and watching the San Francisco Giants.

Oh, and it's pronounced "lawn-yay." It's okay, no one gets it right.
